Roos and Black and White Transferware

I love the look of anything black and white, it just seems to jump out at me every time I see it.  I finally couldn’t stand it and just had to tear the kitchen apart and really clean.  You know how you just clean through the middle when you have company, well, I’ve done a lot of that this last month, but I have so enjoyed my son and grandson.  I am going to try really hard not to cry when they go home Thursday.

The kitchen got a really good scrubbing, and it looks soooooooo good.  While I was at it I decided to use the frenchy basket and create a new vignette in the corner.

Roosters to go with my rooster picture.  (Can you have too many roosters?)

I love this rooster and the little hen, perfect together.  Isn’t it amazing how sometimes you find just the right piece to compliment each other.  Of course I think almost every vignette needs wheat. ( I have no idea why I have such an obcession with it.)

A black and white check tea towell is perfect with the black and white Haystack transferware.  I found a whole bag of faux veggies at GW, so I added those.  See the figs and the little cherry tomatoes.

A tiny plant in my little french pitcher sitting on the scale just finishes it all off.

It is always such a good feeling to have the kitchen clean.  Now I really need to clean the rest of the house.
