When you get something new you always have to play, so I made a couple of changes with two of my new treasures.
First I showed you my cow and how well he fits in with my farmer vignette on the island.
Next I showed you this wonderful apothecary jar, I have been looking for a small one that was just right and this is it.
So I changed out some fruit for grapes and added a wine bottle to create a little different vignette with my wire basket.
See how fun it is to fill my little apothecary jar with corks. I love this look and I am definitely a copy cat of dozens of people in blogland.
Save those empty wine bottles and just display them with a really pretty wine stopper.
My friend Karen from Some Days Are Diamonds gave me the corks when I was there last summer. I love to decorate with them. (Can’t wait to see her in a couple of weeks, she’ll be here and so will Cindy from Applestone Cottage. We have a fabulous lunch planned with several bloggers. Fun, fun, fun.)
Sometimes you don’t have to change the whole vignette to get a different look.
Just play and have fun. It doesn’t cost a thing to move things around a little and it feels so good. lol
