On Friday the 2nd, I had one of the most fun days ever. A couple of blogger friends were in town, so a group of us got together for lunch and shopping. How fun is that, and it is so good to have a chance to visit and catch up. Love all these ladies, they are so fabulous and such wonderful friends.
On the left is Karen (Some Days are Diamonds), Ceekay (Thinkin’ of Home) moi (as usual I am talking) then Laura (Decor to Adore) Cindy (Applestone Cottage) Jamie (Mimi’s Corner) Liz (Rose Vignettes). Laura’s daughter (the Fashionista) also joined us and she was so kind to take the pics. Thanks Cindy for letting me borrow this picture since I forgot my camera. Geeezzzzz How in the world do you forget your camera.
Karen was visiting from California and Cindy was here from Wisconsin, so we all had to celebrate and get together. Great food and shopping on the agenda.
I found a few new treasures while we were shopping and one of them was a frame that is the finishing touch to my bathroom. (Are you like me, and you just keep puttzing and puttzing with every vignette.) I think I am done now, but you never know.
First I found new Frenchy accessories, so I started playing with a few changes. Then I found the wonderful tin that was black and camel to tie in with the room colors and the frenchy design, so that started a centerpiece for the counter. Well, when I saw this frame, of course I had to have it. Look how beautiful it is and so perfect to match the frenchy theme of the rest of the decor. I am on a kick to use more photos in my decor, and since I didn’t want to put our wedding pic in the main living areas, the bathroom is perfect and the frame is perfect.
Doesn’t it go well with the vase.
I like the way it finishes the centerpiece and ties in with the room.
Ok, so I think I am finished for a while. I like this arrangement.
