I know we all do it, but hanging plates on the wall is almost addictive. Once you hang a few, you just want to hang more.
I live in a house with very little wall space. Windows everywhere, and in the kitchen there are no walls at all. Just tiny slivers at the end of the cabinets, so when I found this plate rack at GW for $1.99, I knew it would fit on one of those small slivers of space.
This small section of cabinet next to the fridge is where I have the coffee pot and the malt machine. Perfect spot for those two and the cabinet above holds the coffee, cups and sugars. Plus it has one of those small slivers of wall that could use a little decor.
The plate rack works perfectly. I placed two plates in each slot. Love those little pig and rooster plates, they add so much wonderful color.
Then once I got started, I just couldn’t quit. See the side of the cabinet. Well, of course it got some plates too.
More roosters. Such fun colors and the pattern is so cheerful. Fun addition to the cabinet.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.
