Kitchen Redone

I showed you some treasures that I have been finding at GW (Goodwill) again.  I am so glad they finally have some neat things, it was really bad there for a while.  Anyway, with new treasures of course it means new vignettes.

This is one of my newest finds that I havn’t shown you.  Isn’t it wonderful.  Such gorgeous colors and huge, plus it has a rooster painted on it.  For $4.99 I think it’s a bargain.

Then I showed you these great finds from last week, so I needed to play with some of them too.

Playing and changing things in my kitchen is my favorite past time.  It changes constantly.

I just love to create vignettes any where I can.

This is really a working vignette everyday.  The butter slab holds my cooking oils, and salt and pepper grinders.  I have the pig cutting board that I found recently behind it.  I am using this so it will soon have a wonderful patina.  Of course we all need a can opener, so mine is close by for easy use.

This corner of my kitchen changes the most.  It is a place where I can pile a ton of stuff and it is definitely the center of attention.

I recently found several bags of different kinds of faux fruit at GW , so I now have a really nice collection.  Plus I found two more silver trays and this one is really big so it is perfect as a backdrop.  I am using the bottle carrier to display a bottle of wine, my Horchow flatware and an Avignon napkin.

A sunflower just because I love them and the color is perfect with the bowl.

I always love to use a bundle of wheat, it just adds so much to any vignette.  A couple of bunches of grapes spill out onto the counter for some added color.

I filled the crystal decanter with shell noodles and placed a faux cupcake in the cloche.

Wonderful GW finds that look like a million dollars, but at a price that I can afford.

A view of the rest of the side counter.

My french chef and more fruit and cheese.

My white roosters kind of dominate this corner.  Nothing new here, just shopping the house.

This is how the kitchen looks today, you can never tell about tomorrow, it may just change again. lol
