Breakfast Table Staged

As usual you guys have inspired me again.  I keep seeing how you keep the table set and how pretty it looks, so I made a small change on the breakfast table.

I was previously just using one runner and the rooster on the table.  I made these runners years ago and decided to put them both back on and do a mock setting.

The rooster’s colors are perfect with the colors of the runners.

I love how the morning sun casts shadows on the arrangement.  Makes the candle look like it is glowing and shows how beautiful the feathers are.

A tiny wood flower and a pretty bow spruces up any arrangement.

My mock setting is just a tortise charger and napkin.  I always serve our plates in the kitchen, so when I bring them to the table they can sit right on the charger and I don’t have to redo the tablesetting every day.

I’ve had these stems for years.  I found them at Pier One and love the etched palm trees.  I think they work well with the tortise chargers with the wicker edges, sort of a neat tropical look.

I use to keep the table set this way in our previous home all the time, fun to do it again. Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.
