My New Sofa

Remember all the musical sofas I told you about here, well we got my son moved over the weekend and my old sofa in the familyroom went to his familyroom and I got to move the one my daughter gave me into my familyroom and play.  It was fun rearranging things just a little bit.  Not a ton of changes, except the end tables were re-positioned a little.  This sofa is a foot shorter than the old one and so it fits this small room so much better.  I also love the cream color.  This is the view standing beside the kitchen island.

This was the old sofa.

The cream color is just so bright and cheery for this room.

I am using pillows that I already had.  The plaid one I made out of fabric matching the drapery header and the crewel one is fabric matching the two runners on the table. Since this is a really small area, I thought it worked better to keep the pillows coordinated with the rest of the fabric in the room.

Remember the runners, I really do love this fabric.

The coffee table got a little bit of a new vignette.  I added a hurricane and one of the matching chargers.

I showed you that fabulous big bucket my daughter gave to me as an Easter basket, I decided to use it next to the desk area.

It holds all of my magazines.

How fun to have a new sofa, it gives the room a wonderful change.

Don’t you just love it when you get something new.  Always such fun.
