Now I am not an advocate of every square inch of wall being covered with something, in fact I really think restraint is called for most times, and walls need breathing room. However, every once in a while there is a tiny spot that just sort of needs something. This is a tiny sliver of wall in my dining area that just looked bare to me.
It a little piece of wall next to the hall doorway.
This is the plastic frame I found at Goodwill for $1 and painted, then gave it some touches of shine with gold rub ‘n buff. The little sheep I printed off the internet, so they were free.
The brass sconce came from a garage sale for $1. I thought the two looked good together.
Definitely adds a touch of shine to this corner.
As you can see, the edge of my other frame has gold around it, so these two things tie in pretty good.
Fun to look at your rooms with a fresh eye and see if there is anything that will spruce them up just a bit, even a tiny little corner somewhere.
So how do you feel about walls, lots of pictures or hardly any at all?
