Since I borrowed my doggie lamp from the familyroom, and put it in the guest room, I needed to replace it. My Goodwill always has a huge selection of lamps. Some of them really, really, ugly, but usually there are a few to choose from that are pretty good.
I found a great one. I don’t have a lot of room, so a small table was all that would fit this area, that means that I need a small based lamp. I think this fit the bill perfectly.
It works well on the table and next to the two leather chairs.
The antique bronze color is perfect and I thought the geometric shape added a masculine touch, plus for $4.99, I couldn’t beat the price.
There is still room for my Anniversary clock and a couple of items for a small vignette.
I borrowed the shade off my rooster lamp. I thought the square shape went well with the geometric shape of the lamp.
I put a bell shaped shade that I thought worked great on the rooster lamp and it is one that I already had so I didn’t have to buy anything new. Using what I have, that is always a good thing. (Did that sound just like Martha?)
So GW to the rescue again and a great look for $4.99.
Seems like I am always swapping lamps and shades. Do you switch things up, or do you leave your lamps the same?
