Coffee Table Redone

Sometimes you create a new vignette by accident.  When I get the new dresser done for my bedroom, I am going to give the buffet I have in their to my son, he has the perfect wall to put it on in his dining room.   I was looking through  my stash and pulled together a few accessories to decorate the buffet with.  I am trying to give his home a little bit of character and still not be fussy at all.  The plant in the white pot is going to him.  A faux plant that doesn’t take any care, but adds a little interest.   As I was putting things together for his house, I sat it temporarily on the coffee table, well that got me to creating a whole new vignette.  So I am borrowing his plant until the dresser is finished. lol

The coffee table has looked like this since March.  Can you believe I havn’t changed it in that long.  Lovely, but more than time for a change.

A couple of candlesticks and a tray were all that were necessary.  This has me thinking, I have a couple of really small wood candlesticks that I could put on my son’s coffee table.  That wouldn’t look too girly.  He keeps his house looking really nice, but he doesn’t like anything prissy.

I left the pretty wood of the table showing for a change.  I like it.

I still like the small cloche with the crystal egg.  Looks great on the tray.  (Be sure to check out the sidebar for  info about the Summer Cloche Party)

A Faberge plate is always a great accessory anywhere.

Fun to play and I like his plant, I may have to make one for me.
