Welcome to the 2012 Summer Cloche Party. I can’t wait to see what all you guys have created, you are always so clever and so fun.
There are two cloches that are always on my kitchen counter. They were both gifts from my son, so they are super special to me. They change often, however, I think you have seen these displays before. My cute little farmer couple and a cow in my favorite rooster cloche.
The cakestand coordinates with the rooster cloche and right now it is holding some faux cheese, grapes and croissants.
Here are a few from the past that you might remember.
While I was trying to put a couple of things together, DH called me to the family room and said “Show Mine – Show Mine”. I got a chuckle that he had gone outside and found one of his rare plants and put it under my really huge cloche. He insists that his is the proper use of the cloche. lol, This man just doesn’t realize what all we ladies can dream up to put under one. lol ( I love that he likes to join in on the fun. He thought he was really clever. )
This one is from his Cacti and Succulent Collection, really rare and about to bloom. See those really tiny little tall stems, they have itty bitty buds on them. It’s going to make really little flowers, then he can collect really, really, really tiny seeds.
Ok, now let’s see what all you guys have put together. Remember, it can be any kind of container that you can decorate in or under, so let’s get the party started.
