I am suddenly attracted to anything Crystal, and then add some silver and I just have to have it. When I was shopping the other day at A Second Look, ( if you missed that post you can see it here here) this piece just called my name.
A beautiful silver and crystal iced decanter.

It’s a place to put some crushed ice to keep your drink cold.
This is an old piece from around the 40’s or 50’s. These were very popular then. I love the detail on the spout, so pretty.
Beautiful detail on the handle too and the crystal is very heavy with deep swirling cuts all the way down and on the bottom.
Not a bad price either. . (I laughed at the tag, it says coffee pot, I really don’t think you want coffee in here.)
I put it on the buffet next to the silver tray holding my recent decanter finds.
Looks perfect with my little silver and crystal glass.
One pretty decanter lead to another and another and now I think I have a new collection.
