I have been drooling over all of the wonderful velvet pumpkins I see on everyone’s blog and all the fabulous tutorials, then I walked into Hobby Lobby and they had a few left and on sale for 40% off. Since that is cheaper than I could make one, of course one just jumped in my basket. $12.99 and 40% off.
Chocolate was the prettiest color they had left and since everything was 40% off, I also picked up a beaded pumpkin that was $4.99.
I dug through my stash, pulled out a rusty iron footed compote planter that I had and then started looking for everything I had to pull a centerpiece together.
Acorns, cream pumpkin, grapes, berry picks and leaves all work together to create a fun arrangement.
I moved the cornucopia to the coffee table to replace the swan, and this works great here.
The velvet pumpkins are so fun, and I am thrilled I have one. I couldn’t help but use it as part of my new header. So perfect for fall.
