I love a challenge and Our Fifth House is challenging us to create something we saw on Pinterest as our inspiration. I thought this vignette of cutting boards would be fun to do, since I have some fun ones to play with.
This pretty image is from Winding Vine that I found on Pinterest.
Both of these wonderful cutting boards or breadboards as some call them are antiques that were gifts from a dear friend. These are so special to me and always bring back precious memories of antiquing trips together.
I thought they would be showcased the best in my favorite corner of the kitchen.
Wheat, scales and cork fruit for some texture
The baby pig for fun.
I love the wheat carving around the edge of the first one and the “love” in the center. The other one has such a beautifully carved heart handle.
My sassy pig just because I like him and the little rooster pot of greenery.
Next to the stove is my pig cutting board. Isn’t it the cutest? He’s the one I really use.
This does double duty for the Creative Challenge and Valentines. Now I can’t say I didn’t do anything at all for Valentine’s. Gotta love that.
Roosters are usually ruling the decor in the kitchen, today it is Pigs. Fun, fun, fun.
