This probably isn’t going to totally impress you, but to me this is fabulous Why in the world didn’t I think of it before.
You’ve all seen my bathroom, love it, there’s just one small problem. There are absolutely no walls in this bathroom and no place to hang a bath towel.
See, absolutely no walls.
A tiny space above the tub, however if you want to take a shower, where is your towel? On the other side of the room isn’t very handy. This would mean you had to drip water across the bathroom to get a towel to dry off with. Not a good idea.
See that angeled door in the mirror. That’s the door to the toilet, and we have to hang our towels in there. We both love to use bath sheets and that’s the only space with enough room to hang them.
When we start to shower, we take one out and then drape it over the ledge between the tub and shower. Half the time it falls off and is on the floor.
See, this is the little toilet room. A nice shelf that holds extra soap and toilet paper.
This side of the wall has a lovely painting.
This side holds our bath sheets once they are dry. I don’t like to hang a wet towel folded, I like for it to have plenty of space to air dry completely. So it usually gets draped over the ledge again to dry.
Today I found a small over the door hook and I think it is absolutely genius storage for the towels.
I just hung one, but see, you can hang a really big bath sheet on it. Once we step out of the shower, it is right there, totally within reach. Then it can hang back up in the same place to dry. Once dry I can fold it and put it back on the towel bar.
See, it is just one step out of the shower. Now why didn’t I think of this before.
