As Easy as Swapping Lamps

Sometimes a design delima is so simple you just have to shake your head and say “DUH”. I have a fabulous little gateleg table that I use as an end table in the familyroom, however I always find the half round shape hard to put a vignette on and then there was the rooster lamp that I had there for years and that always confused me. Did it have to be a rooster vignette?

All I needed to do was swap lamps and now I can think of a dozen ways to create a vignette. A simple candlestick lamp that was on the opposite table got switched with the rooster lamp. It has a smaller base and I don’t feel like I have to have something to coordinate with a rooster.

See how simple this is with the candlestick lamp, I love this change.

The rooster lamp works just fine on this smaller end table. A small urn and dish completes the vignette.

Just a 10 minute “duh” moment and so much better.
