I Always Forget This Space

I change everything in my kitchen all the time, but I always forget the space above the fridge.

This side of my kitchen has the pantry, fridge and a small coffee station. There’s no real counter space, so I just kind of ignore it. Way too often the top of the fridge becomes the place to store big decor items that I’m not using right now.

The top of the cabinets hold some of my antique tins and a coffee grinder.

These stay there all the time, but I should remember to arrange a fun vignette on the top of the fridge.

A really pretty Italian cache pot full of fruit, some wheat and my pig is what I came up with.

It really works double duty too. These are all big items and I need a place to store them, so a fun vingette works for something pretty to see and a place to store them.

I have to admit, that looks so much better than just something piled up there. (Yes, I still want to swap out the horrible track lights, they just havn’t gotten to the top of the list yet.)
