Show Off & Inspire - Remodelando la Casa

I am so honored to be able to Show Off and Brag about Christina from Remodelando la Casa. Her blog is definitely one of my favorites and I absolutely adore her gorgeous smile. Every time I click to read a post and see that gorgeous face, I feel so welcomed. If you don’t know her, you are going to be blown away by her talent.

Hi everyone! I’m Cristina from Remodelando la Casa and I’m pretty excited to join Marty on her Show Off & Inspire series, thanks Marty!

My blogging journey began with the need to update our plain home, my love for decorating has made that journey very enjoyable. I love to paint, organize, make crafts, get into sewing projects for the home, and lately I’ve been drawn into wood working.

Welcome to my home!

Here is where I spend my time among pieces of fabric, moldings and paint, trying to achieve that mix of traditional and modern style I love.

One of my latest projects has been updating our dining room, like most of my projects it started with the need or desire to change something but ended up with a full room makeover.

I’ve been learning how to incorporate yard sale or flea market findings to decorate my home in a frugal way, my living room update is one example of it.

Working on small wooden projects like this simple caddy has given me the confidence to go onto bigger tasks,

like building a cover for the bathtub or updating a builder’s grade vanity in my kids bathroom.

The master bedroom is still in progress, but there, I already managed to complete the bookcases and ceiling beams, projects that I would have never imagined being able to accomplish.

Just the same as in the kitchen.

Without a doubt one of the projects I enjoy the most is updating the mantel for the seasons, it gives the family room and kitchen area a completely new and happy feel each time it’s changed.

Like it happens to many of you, my home is a work in progress, I’m usually building and moving things around the house and I love to show you how it was done. It would be wonderful if you stop by, check some of the projects and get inspired to change things in your own home!
