I am not ready to decorate for fall, it is still above 110 here most days, but I am trying to encourage it, so I thought maybe a new wreath on the door would let the weather know that I am ready for cooler temps.
A friend and I did some shopping and had lunch last week and of course we have to stop in Home Goods. I found a wonderful wheat wreath form for $19.99, so in my basket it jumped.
I wanted something that was really simple and you know the “less is more kind of thing”
A berry pick, some feathers and a small burlap bow.
Hum, looks a little too plain on a brown door. Needs something.
Ok, how about “more is better”. A polka dot ribbon adds just enough.
So much better don’t you think?
Ok, I can go with this.
I like it, perfect for now.
