I am thrilled to be able to Show Off and Brag about Jacqueline from Cabin & Cottage. She has some of the most wonderful collections of white dishes and linens you will ever see and creates the most exquisite vignettes using all of her collections. Then on top of that she takes the most amazing photos. Get ready to drool as you go through some of her pictures, you are going to be so inspired by her talents.
Hi there! I’m Jacqueline from Cabin & Cottage. I’m honored that Marty invited me to participate in Show Off & Inspire!
I have been a blogger for thee years, and began mainly as a way to advertise my Cabin & Cottage vintage shop. Though my shop is now closed, my love for vintage, and cottage style goes on.
I found it challenging to distill a post about my blog to a few photos. I love vignettes and taking pictures, and have posted about china, linens, and cottage life over eight hundred times. That’s a lot to pick from!
My husband and I live in a smallish pueblo style adobe home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My roots are here. We have a large family, and my life work has been to raise six wonderful sons and one very special daughter, and now making a welcome place for all of our many grandchildren too.
Until the day that I realized that it was really a cottage that we live in, I had a hard time finding my way in it. Since then, we have embraced the small rooms and quirky features to make it a home.
I love decorating with white, and you will find a lot of it on my blog. It makes a room lighter, brighter, and feel more spacious.
I love garden style too.
I’m a vintage linen and china lover, and enjoy dressing up a table with my collections. But I also use a lot of the same things in different ways over and over. I’m sure a lot of my things have become very familiar to my longtime followers!
White roses are my favorite.
This is one of my most widely pinned photos.
I especially love white embossed vintage china and use it in a lot of tablescapes.
This is one of my most recent tables.
My all time most viewed post is one of my very first, of my antique English sideboard.
And, finally, I do a ton of posts from this corner of my dining room. Most of my collections are used here, and it’s where I have the best light in our home for photos.
I hope you’ll stop by for a visit and get acquainted sometime! If you’re already one of my blog pals, thanks a bunch for listening in. Hurry back! Thanks again for the honor, Marty!
