I definitely want to make some changes in my living room this year, so I have been dreaming about a few changes that will give my room a more updated chic look. I think I can create an entirely new room with just a few changes.
I made an Idea and Wish board at Polyvore.
#1. My biggest wish is to install hardwood floors. I would like a medium brown color and hand scraped planks.
#2. Change out the drapes for some really pretty linen or silk cream colored ones.
#3. Recover my ottoman in a fabulous cream colored fabric.
#4. Find some really pretty new lamps (with wood tones, glass or marble maybe.)
#5. Make some new pillows in tones of grey, gold, black and brown. Maybe even add a little animal print.
I think changing drapes and recovering the ottoman will be the first things on the list. Finding just the right lamps will be the next thing. Floors will probably have to wait for a few months, but definitely this year.
So, what are you dreaming of doing and changing?
