Some New Accessories

I have been so focused on the living room and family room drapes that I haven’t done anything in the way of fun shopping.  It’s amazing how you can get focused on one thing and have total tunnel vision about anything else. 

So I finally took some time one day and hit a couple of my favorite stores.  Goodwill usually comes up with something I love.  I found two sacks of these fabulous shell and fiber orbs. They were $2.99 a sack and of course it was 25% off day too.  Some were big, but there were quite a few small ones.  I love all the different textures.

 When I put this vignette together, I didn’t have anything in the apothecary jar, these small ones fit perfectly.

 These look fabulous with my marble orbs.  Isn’t it fun when you find something that is just perfect.

It seems like I always can use anothe tray.  While I was out looking for drapes, I stopped in at Marshall’s.  You can always find a treasure there.  I found this great tray in the clearance section.  Yes, the brass is a little scratched, but that didn’t bother me.

 Just look at the price.  How could you go wrong and if it really gets more scratches, I can either try to buff them out or paint it.
