I am loving this new series where we get to have a peak into some of our favorite bloggers homes and today we get a special tour from Linda at Coastal Charm. She is one of the most gracious bloggers in all of blogland and her home is gorgeous. I love her style and her creativity. Grab a drink and sit back, this is one fabulous kitchen filled with tons of charm and inspiration.
Before we get started here today, I want to say thank you Marty, for inviting me to be a part of your series “Pulling It All Together”. It’s such an honor to be here, sharing a part of my home with all of you. Marty and I go way back in blogland, I think we have both been blogging for about five years now. Her weekly linky party, was one of the first parties that I ever join in on, and now years later, I still love being a part of it.
For all of y’all that don’t already know me, I’m Linda from Coastal Charm, and yes, I live in the deep South! It really wasn’t hard to choose which room in my home that I would share here. The kitchen is the hub of our home, so let’s see how I pulled it all together, so my family would have a comfy room to hang out in.
Welcome to our kitchen.
I wish I could offer you a tall glass of
sweet tea, but this internet thing, keeps
me from being a good Southern hostess…
sorry y’all!
You will see right off the bat, that I LOVE
ironstone, old scales, or anything to do
with the farmhouse style.
I was really lucky that I already had these wonderful old
brick floors. Nothing screams farmhouse more, than charming
brick floors!
When I purchased this hutch, it was a celery
green color, but I recently painted it white.
I wanted this room to mainly have only grey,
white, cream and a touch of taupe in the color
palette.
My sweet hubs built us this farm table nineteen
years ago, way before they were so “cool”.
Mr. CC has a good eye for finding some
neat items when we are out pickn’ for my
business Coastal Charm Interiors. This old
apple basket, is one of his treasures, that we
enjoy in our kitchen.
I made my own burlap drapes…you all know that
DIY folks just can’t buy ready made.
You can see that, I love using farm fresh
items to display with. In my book, there
is nothing better!
Back a few years ago, we added white beadboard and
painted the walls grey, so I could get
that farmhouse look in here.
Gotta have a moo cow in the house!
I enjoy re-purposing items, and
here I have one of my bedspring
crosses.
I found this kitchen island at a discount
store awhile back and I knew right
away, that it was perfect for this
space in my kitchen. It had a stainless steel top and
best of all, it had a lot of storage space.
By adding old chippy painted
items here and there,
you will achieve
the farmhouse style!
Fresh flowers from your yard, always
add some charm.
This is a very lived-in type of kitchen,
I even have my aprons on display
in here.
Vintage scales, can be found all over.
I hope you enjoyed visiting my kitchen today,
I know I enjoyed having you here.
I’d love to have you visit by my blog sometime. You can also

Isn’t her kitchen fabulous. I love how she uses everyday items as beautiful accessories. Her kitchen is one I could be totally at home in, so warm and inviting. If you don’t follow her, I really do hope you will go over and click that follow button, you really don’t want to miss a single post and you definitely want to see the rest of her home. Stunning.
