Now what is better than spending a day with a blogging buddie shopping and having lunch. That’s the best kind of day ever in my book. Of course, it’s also fun when you find a new treasure or two.

He found a spot on the corner of my desk for now.
Love this pretty little glass vase and faux suculent. Perfect to go just about anywhere in any vignette. I thought it was a bargain for $5.95.
I think it looks great on this shelf of my bookcase.

The best part and blessing of blogging is meeting fellow bloggers and making friends. Laura is such a precious and special friend that I would have never met without blogging. She is the most talented and interesting person you could ever meet. She just came back from a fabulous trip to France and is doing a series on her blog highlighting all the sights, including tons of fabulous pictures and history. You definitely need to go check it out. She describes everything in such a way that you feel like you are on the trip with her.
One of her other talents is that she is a professional Interior Designer. You should see some of her work, she is very creative. On our day out she found a few pillows and pictures to change up her living room for summer and a quilt to give her son’s room a change up too. I can’t wait to see how she does a makeover on both rooms.
