I think every master bedroom should have a seating area of some kind. Now it can be big and elaborate, or really small. Most of us don’t have the space to do big and elaborate. If we’re lucky, we have a small sliver of space and that’s it.
This little nook of space in our master is only 4 ft. wide. Big enough for a chair and table.
A gold and silver metal garden stool found at Ross for $39 makes the perfect size table. Big enough to hold a couple of decorative items and still big enough to place a drink on.
The chair was my favorite goodwill find and only $15. I love this chair. It’s very small in scale, so it fits perfectly in this small space. I can change the back pillow to coordinate with the rest of my decor in the room.
The painting and sconces I’ve had for years. Perfect touches to finish off this space. Now doesn’t this look inviting.
You don’t need a big space to create a spot to sit, relax and have a little me time. Think small and find a corner somewhere. This could turn out to be your favorite spot in the house.
So did you carve out a spot in your master for a small seating area?
