Refreshing My Wardrobe – End Of Season Sales

Whenever the stores have their end of season sales is my favorite time to shop.  Since we live in the desert, we pretty much wear summer clothes all year long.  Time to find a few pieces to freshen up my wardrobe.

I dress very basic and classic.  My wardrobe colors are black/white/grey and brown with a dash of red thrown in.  I need to refresh some of my “run to the grocery store” and “run a few errands” kind of outfits.  I also like to see if I can dress them up a little for a casual date night or lunch with the girls.

This black and white tee shirt can be worn all by itself or add a scarf or necklace, a great pair of pumps or cute glitzy sandles and it can go out on the town.

When I find a style I like I buy multiples if I can, so I also got this in the brown and white stripe.

A fresh red tee is always a must and a staple in my wardrobe.  I love to pair it with a blazer and a great pair of jeans.  (Yes, I still wear my Ralph Lauren Signature Blazer.)   This outfit can take you just about anywhere.

This simple brown and white printed tee can be thrown over a pair of white or khaki pants and off to the grocery store all by itself, but bring out a blazer and necklace, now it can go to town.

I always look for basics when I shop and I can always use a fresh black tee shirt and this one is so cute with the buttons and pockets.

I love a good pair of white capri’s and this is such a really cute style with the buttons.  The black pants are a fabulous pair of knit pull-ons perfect for running errands or working out.  I love the way these are tailored and they have just a touch of stretch, so they fit really well and super slimming.  They are by Apt. 9 if you are looking for a great pair.

I can never walk away from the shoes, and anything with a little glitz is fun to have.

I love these brown leather ones, super comfy with the cork soles and perfect with any outfit.

Fun shopping day, 5 tee shirts, 2 pants, 2 shoes and my total was just under $100.  Not bad.

Have you been shopping the clearance sales too?
