Fall is just about here so of course I am thinking about changing things up a bit. This is one of my favorite seasons, it is when the temps get cooler and flowers start to bloom again here in the desert. I am even more excited for those cooler temps because I am going to have the carpet removed and fabulous hardwood floors put down . They say I have to wait until the temps are somewhere in the 70’s so the floors won’t be too hot or too cold and warp. 110 degrees won’t work, so I am trying to patiently wait. haha that is a joke I am chomping at the bit.
Anyway, back to the issue at hand. I am ready for some fall color, so I just shopped the house to change things up a little. When I get the new floors down, I am going to repaint, change out drapes and make a few other changes, so for now, not buying anything, just using what I have.
I pulled these pumpkin colored pillows out of the master bedroom and changed up a couple of the black and white pillows.
Most of the accessories stayed the same. I added the mirror “M” and brought back most of the brass.
I can’t wait to get the hardwood floors down, I think it will totally change this room, but for now this is a little bit of fall color. (I just ordered new lamps, I can’t wait to see how they look when they get here. They were on clearance for a fabulous price, so I couldn’t resist.)
So how about you, are you thinking Fall too?
