This fabric pattern has been around for quite a while and I have drooled over it forever. I didn’t even know the name of it until a while ago when a friend shared with me. It is Schumacher’s Chiang Mia Dragon. It comes in several different color backgrounds and I am totally smitten. Just one small problem, it is $165 a yard and every place I looked had a minimum of 2 yards. Wow, that makes me stop and re-evaluate just how much I like it. Since I had never seen the fabric in person, only in a ton of pictures in magazines and online, I thought I would order a sample of two of the colors.
Much to my surprise, these 20 x 20 inch samples came in the mail. This one with the white background is called Alabaster colorway.
The Aquamarine background is my favorite.
I ordered several samples of all kinds of different prints and much to my surprise I had ordered these twice. This sample actually came with part of the coveted dragon on it.
Now I am not sure if I am going to bit the bullet and spend that kind of money just so I can have the Dragon. I may just make these into pillows and get my fix that way.
So have you drooled over this or any other fabric for a while?
