I Trimmed The Chandy Shades – You Knew I Would

OK, I really, really think I am through fussing with this room and the chandy.  I have tons of other projects to get to, but I just couldn’t resist trimming the chandy shades.  I lived with them plain for a while and that looked really nice, then I pinned some trim on one and lived with that for a while.  Of course the trim won out.

I loved all of your suggestions about pattern and especially using leopard, but I decided that subtle was the best for now.

I love Greek Key trim and this is my favorite color.  It adds some “umph” without screaming at you.

I am so pleased with the Breakfast area now.  Simple and classic.

Here they are plain.  They are pretty this way – –

and pretty with the trim.  Either is fine, but this looks a little more finished.

Remember the before.  I am so thrilled with the after.

The new shades and trim definitely give the chandy an upgrade that it needed and gives the room a much more updated feel.

Ok, now I promise I won’t show this room again for a while.
