Leaving On A Jet Plane – well I already left and am enjoying a great time with my son and grandson. Since Spring Break is coming up and several are traveling, I thought I would give you a peak at a couple of options I put together for travel.
I wanted to put together a really comfortable outfit. Flying and the hassel of airports can be stressful, so I wanted comfort, plus I had to switch planes and a layover, so easy – easy – easy was my motto.
I packed everything in 1 carry on bag for the whole trip, so that part wasn’t going to be a problem. Just what to wear getting there.
It is cooler in the NW than here in the desert, so layering sounded like a great idea. I love this black and white silk blouse layered with a red tee. Pair this with a pair of jeans and tennis shoes or boots for a casual look.
I thought maybe dressing it up with a statement necklace was fun.

The weather can be a mix of anything from warm 60’s to rain or snow. I havn’t worn this trench in ages, but it is such a classic piece and will work no matter what I am wearing. Definitely worth the investment and never goes out of style. I think every wardrobe needs one. This one coat and a couple of sweaters will work for whatever the weather brings. Warm but lightweight and soooo comfortable and stylish too.
What did I decide on?
Casual, jeans and tennies. Perfect for navigating through the airport. I’ll wear the slacks and black tee out to dinner one night.
