One Pillow Doing Double Duty

I swap out pillows constantly and even though I add zippers to all of them so I can just change out the covers, I still have a LOT to try and store.

I need my pillows to do double duty.

I wanted to add a little tangerine/orange to the living room, so I started going through my stash.  I had the perfect pillows.

This is one of my all time favorite fabrics ever (Schumacher’s Chiang Mai Dragon).  Only one problem, it is just a little spendy for my budget, so I used it wisely for the fronts of my pillows only.

I chose a really fun tangerine/orange fabric for the back.  I love seeing a contrasting fabric peek out from behind.

I decided to just use the tangerine/orange side for my “Spring Living Room”.   How fun is this – two pillows for the price of one.  Love it.

Next time you find the perfect fabric, but the price is just a little stretch,  remember 1/2 yard can make a couple of pillow covers, just pick a fun contrasting fabric and create something “double duty”.

Ok, now to get the rest of the room put together and accessorized.

Be sure to get all of your projects lined up for Inspire Me Tuesday.  Party goes live Monday afternoon at 3 PM CMT.  Can’t wait to see you there.
