Plaid is all the rage this year for Christmas, but finding table linens is a whole other story.
First off they are really hard to find – –
Then the price will kill you if you do find them.
When I shared a sneak peak at my Breakfast Room Table, I had dozens of emails asking where I got my plaid linens.
Here’s my super easy DIY On The Cheap Plaid Linens.
We rarely use a tablecloth, most of the time we just use a runner. With this size table cloth, you can cut it in thirds lengthwise and have plenty for two runners and 6 napkins that are nice and large. Simply turn under the cut edge and
1. fold under and hemstitch
2. fold under & stitch with fabric glue
3. Pull threads for a fringe look
Sometimes I like to use two runners like I did in this tablescape, so having two runners allows me to do a totally different tablescape.
Super easy and washable with no ironing, now that is a winner anytime in my book.
