Candles are a fabulous accessory to add to your decor. They can be big, tall, chunky, tapered or tiny tea lights. Some are real and some are battery powered. They can steal the show or simply fill in space. Either way, they are a great accessory to have in your arsenol in all sizes and shapes.
These large multi-wick candles are often displayed on top of pedestals or beautiful plates, however placed in a large hurricane they take on a more stately attitude.
Sometimes candles are sort of subtle and fillers. Sometimes they add a touch of sparkle that the table needs like these two. One column candle and several tea lights scattered around.
There is also the time when the candles in a fabulous silver candelabra are the star of the show. This wouldn’t be much of a tablescape without this candelabra.
Adding sparkle, interest and height to balance out a vignette is a great way to use your candle holders.
For a low key really casual setting, sometimes tea lights are all that is needed.
Here the flowers are the star of the show, so the candles just act as a filler.
A whole collection of brass candlesticks in different sizes and shapes can really dress up a simple tablescape.
The same collection of candleholders work perfectly in a different tablescape. They add just the right amount of gold to the monochromatic setting.
So what are your favorite ways to use candles?
