As you all know when you start any project, one thing leads to another. I have been doing a makeover of my kitchen, so of course that leads me to scrutinizing every single inch of this space. (You can see where we are at this point here.)
My kitchen has plenty of drawers – but I don’t utilize all that storage too well sometimes. This is just one corner. I have 5 more drawers on the other side.
Most of the time they look like this. Just stuff in the drawer so you have to dig around to find the one thing you are looking for. Now this drawer still needs some dividers, but I did find a couple that worked great for two other drawers.
While out shopping at TJMaxx I found a pair of kitchen dividers that were a little bigger than most. I thought they might work to organize some of my kitchen gadgets. This one is for silverware, but I repurposed it to hold these essential kitchen gadgets. Scoops, can opener, slicer, peelers, pizza cutter, bottle opener, large wisk, salad tongs and misc. Not perfect, but so much better than everything just floating around in the drawer and getting stirred up every time I want something.
This one is just three large sections. This works great for my spatulas, potato masher, tongs, ladle and a few other miscellaneous items. Right behind it are my food shovels and my vegetable brush. This is so much better.
Now I am on the hunt for something for all those large spoons and turners. I am going to get this kitchen organized or else. haha.
