Finding The Right Rug For The Living & Family Rooms

I am totally loving that I will have new wood floors, but I think I need some rugs to soften the look of things and to add interest to my decor. A rug can add so much to any style. There are so many to choose from and so many styles, I just need to find the right ones for my rooms.

Rugs USA is once again having their 70% off sale so I took a stroll through their website to see what they had in the way of rugs that might be fun.

Fun to browse and try to get an idea of what might work with my decor. I put several on a wish list so I could compare.

This is the Keno Trellis in an 8’3″ x 11′ on sale for $381.

This is the Tuscan VS168 Chinese Lattice in an 8’6″ x ll’6″ for $330

This one is called Velvet Zebra Rug in a 7’7″x10′ for $303. This might be fun for the family room with my Horse painting.

This one is Tuscan VS159 Raised Lattice in Grey in a 8’6″xll’6″ for $507.

I love the tan and gray and the texture of this rug. I think it would be fabulous for my family room or even my living room.

This one is Jakut JI01 Flatweave Jute Flamestitch in an 8’6″ x ll’6″ for $330.

This is an indoor – outdoor and has a really nice tight weave pattern.

Isn’t the ombre effect beautiful in this one. It would really look nice in my family room. Especially since I have tans and grays in there.

Now if I am true to my heart, I really, really want a cowhide rug. I have coveted one for ages and found several online. World Market also sells some pretty ones. This one is from Cowhides International and is a 7’7″ x 7’7″ which is a great size. They have hides in several different color-ways, but I like the lighter colored ones. This one is Palomino coloring for $379. Wouldn’t this be gorgeous against my new wood floors in the living room.
