Christmas Inspiration

Like the rest of you, I am knee deep in Thanksgiving and planning for Christmas.  I think I have my ideas nailed down, but I haven’t started putting things together yet.

However, the ideas are swirling in my head for Christmas.

This year I will have a few new things and some old things again, so I thought I would share a bit of last years Christmas.

I still love my glitzy deer so I am sure they will be making an appearance again this year.  (They might get a few new trimmings)  The sequined deer are from AtHome and the wreaths were $1.99 from Walmart.  The trimmings are from the Dollar Tree.

I love a thrifty project.

I’m still crazy about silver and bottle brush trees too, so they will probably make an appearance somewhere.

My cherished Nativity will definitely have a place of honor again.

Of course I will have a ton of sparkle everywhere with my diy polka dot ornaments –

and my diy leopard ones too.  (You can see my tutorial here.)

And there will certainly be a bit of whimsy thrown in for fun.

This year I’m mixing it up with some fur, plaid and cable knit in the family room

and some malachite, gold, silver and sparkle for the living room.

With our house for sale, I may have to do minimal this year, so I am still in the planning mode.  How about you, do you have all your plans nailed down?

I would like to buy the cable knit deer with the fur collar. How can I do that?

I am not sure. I have had them for several years. I really don’t even remember where I bought them. Marty
