Moving the week before Christmas is not the ideal time, but we are in and at least have one space decent enough to have Christmas. We feel so blessed to be closer to family and starting on a new adventure with “The Builder Basic.”
A small tree is all we have up this year. I felt fortunate that I could find one box of bulbs, so we are decorated. Gifts are wrapped and ready for family.
This is the view from the loft. As you can see, we just barely have some furniture arranged. . However I am thrilled to have at least one room where we can enjoy the holiday.
The mirror needs to be hung and of course drapes and a million other things
The dining area is going to be a great space – – – –
and I am so excited that we have an entrance wall. We are joining all of our family at Church tonight and then to our daughters for dinner and opening presents. There will be 12 of us, so these are the gifts I am taking for the gift exchange at her house.
When the movers left Tuesday night, this is what this space looked like. They just brought things in and set them down. It was late, it took two trips to get everything from the old house, but they were great guys, so careful, so I was pleased with their work. I think we made pretty good progress so for and we even have our bed up. haha
Christmas night we will entertain a couple of family members that were with their in-laws Christmas eve. We are thrilled to be able to share the joys of Jesus Birth with our family.
I sincerely thank you for all the kind remarks about our new home and for all the wonderful Holiday Wishes. I hope you and your family are spending time with your loved ones too.
GOD BLESS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS
