2017 Spring Home Tour – Part #2

Welcome to Part #2 of my 2017 Spring Home Tour.  If you missed Part #1, here is a little picture catch up for you.

You can see all of 2017 Spring Home Tour Part #1 here.  We left off  showing the view of the stairs and a peek at the loft.

SO CONTINUING ON – – –

At the top of the stairs is a huge landing and the loft area.

I have claimed this spot as the “Girl Cave”.  This is also where I put my office.  Again just some cream and a little greenery and it looks fresh for Spring.

A small settee and chair provide a great place to sit and read, watch tv or just relax.

The gateleg table works great as my desk.  Nice to have a spot where I can get my work done.  I borrowed a small bookcase from my hubby’s office to keep a few of my daily needs – calendar, camera, stapler and etc at easy reach.

Our big entertainment center in across from the settee, it has plenty of bookcase and storage for all my office needs, plus it houses the tv so I can watch some of  my favorite shows.

The arched door on the left of the landing is our Master Bedroom. (The hall bathroom and two other bedrooms are a work in progress)

Our master is a good size room and also has a huge window that lets in tons of light like the rest of the house.

I replaced the fur throw I had at the foot of the bed with a light weight one for spring that has lots of glitz and sequins.  Every room needs a little bling don’t  you think?

Soft beige pillows continue the neutral theme I have going on and looks bright and fresh.

One of the big bonuses of this house is two closets in the master.  I claimed the walk-in as “hers”.

Of course I had to glitz it up a little  (not as much as my last closet, but give me time, this may get the royal treatment too).

I love that it has a ton of shelves on both sides.  The right side has 10 shelves for shoes.  I did share some of this space with hubby for his dress shoes.  See I am a nice girl.

I used this center area as my primping station.  Perfect spot for a mirror, some jewelry and to display a few of my evening bags.

The master bath has been going through a remodel too.  New floors, lights, counter, sink, faucet and accessories.  I still need to paint the vanity so that is next on my list.

I kept the accessories to mostly black and gold to compliment the gorgeous granite.

These beautiful new floors look like wood but are 100% waterproof.  Such a fabulous product.

Thanks for the visit and if you would like to see the “Builder Basic” when we bought it you can see that here, and you can see the kitchen and bathroom remodels hereherehere and here.
