There are some really amazing places around here to do some thrifty shopping and one of my favorites is a place called Furniture Affair. (It is at 7th st. & Bell rd for those living around here. ) They have a fabulous place with upscale furniture and accessories. I think just about any style can be found here from Farmhouse to modern. I thought you might like to go on a shopping trip with me and see what they have. Every piece of furniture or accessory in the store is pristine. They have a mix of new and consignment.
This was the display as I walked in the door. I LOVE those two hot pink chairs. They are so pretty and for $99 for the armless one and $129 for the one with arms, pretty great prices. That cute little gray tuxedo loveseat is only $299.
If you are into farmhouse, that hutch is huge and gorgeous. I didn’t get the price on that.
They have tons of pillows and accessories too.
For the person that loves modern, then you would really like that chest. It is only $149.
They have a lot of art too. I found several fabulous horse prints and somehow don’t have a picture of them.
This shows how big this place is. So much to choose from.
I absolutely love that big tufted ottoman. It was only $199.
How about those crazy bar stools. Fun don’t you think.
There is so much to choose from and the prices are really good.
Now want to see what I found? My daughter and I were shopping right before Christmas and she found a desk chair she wanted for her new house and I saw this really pretty chair that I liked. She bought it for me as a Christmas gift. It was $99.
You all know that I am working on plans for redoing the family room, so this is my jumping off start of the new design. I plan on painting my console in a driftwood finish, new shutters for the windows and redoing the brown chair next to the console. I also have a new sofa coming and then some new recliners a little later on.
First things first – I am going to do a little painting on the frame of the chair to give it a little bit darker finish. I will show you as I get it done.
This room will have to come together piece by piece, but I think it will be fabulous when done. I just have to be patient and save up.
