I always have fun playing with my accessories and changing things up a bit. My favorite color scheme with black, gold and leopard, so of course that is what I did in the living room for winter. Once all the Christmas decor is down, it just seems like we need something that looks warm and snuggly and that color scheme says that to me.
Since our home faces NW, it is amazing how much different the sunlight is that streams in through this front window. In the summer it is full of sun, now it is not so much, so I had to turn the lights on. Sorry, I know they say not to have the lights on in pictures, but it was just too dark without them.
The coffee table got sort of a mix of rustic accessories. I love the marble horse and obelisks. The gold antler is a fun addition too.
This pretty shell is one of my favorite pieces, so it usually stays around somewhere.
I am developing a really bad habit of walking in the door and taking off my shoes, dropping my handbag and anything else I have here at the front door by this chair. Since it all fit my color scheme I just left it for this photo. (I usually pick it up for all the other pictures) haha
Simple but cozy for winter.
