It’s hard to believe the change in our backyard in just one year. We love it it. There is still a ton of work to be done, some hardscaping, storage, fencing and then redoing the patio furniture and etc, etc, etc. You get the idea, tons left to do, but we love where we are now and so thankful for what we have.
June 8th last year I did a post “The Pool Is Finished”. You can see the last part of the construction.
I feel so blessed that this is where we are today.
We are going to have a quiet weekend, so I am sure we will work in the yard a little, swim a little and of course eat a lot.
An afternoon snack is always welcome. Crackers, sausage, carrots and dip with some wonderful pear lemonade. I’ve had these placemats for a few years, they are perfect for outside. Little pockets hold the silverware and napkins so nothing blows away. I also really like my new plastic dishes and stems. No danger of breakage and glass in the pool.
We’ll probably BBQ for dinner and then maybe another dip in the pool with a glass of wine.
