I love a pretty oil painting on canvas, but I don’t always find what I want at a price I can afford and even the size I am looking for. That’s no longer true, now I can have any scene I want and any size I want and it will look like a beautiful oil painting that costs hundreds. Want to know my secret?

When they contacted me to see if I would like to review their product I was super excited. From what I could see on their site, there were endless possibilities that could be created. I have been looking for a larger painting for either the stair wall or the wall as you enter the kitchen.
Right now all of their canvas sizes are 85% off, so the price is totally unreal. They have two different sizes you can choose from as far as the thickness of your finished canvas
Plus they have some great frames to choose from too.
You can create any kind of picture you want. Do a family gallery or choose any picture that you love.
Canvas on the Cheap let me select a 16 x 20 canvas and all I had to do was upload the picture of my choice and they transferred it to canvas. I went online to find free art that I could copy & found this pretty pasture scene and copied it to my computer. Once I uploaded it, they had a preview so I instantly saw what it was going to look like. Gorgeous, I love it.
It turns out it is the perfect size for the kitchen wall.
It is stunning in person, you can even feel the texture. It’s beautifully mounted on wood stretcher bars and even came with a hanger. Canvas on the Cheap has fabulous frames also and they will frame it for you. There are tons of choices and they do such a fabulous job. If you don’t want it framed you can choose either 3/4″ or 1 1/2″ stretcher bars. I chose to have it mounted on the 3/4″ stretcher bars since I had a frame that I wanted to use. When I tried the frame it was way to ornate for the look I was going for.
I love it unframed, but I really wanted to give the picture more presence, so I decided I needed to look for a frame. Hobby Lobby always has them on sale for half off. It was my lucky day. I was trying out different frames and their framer was such a help.
Meet Cynthia – She is such a jewel. (Did you know that they professionally frame your pictures for you if you buy their frames)
She was helping me decide on a frame when she mentioned that she knew of one in clearance that she thought was exactly what I was looking for. Off she went to find it. Now this is where my lucky day came in. Here’s the price. (Hobby Lobby is not sponsoring this post, I just really want to give Cynthia a shout out since she was so helpful.)
This angled wall as you enter the kitchen is where I decided to hang the picture. The family room, kitchen and breakfast area cover the entire back of the house, so I wanted it to coordinate with the rest of my decor.
Canvas on the Cheap would have framed the picture for me and they have similar frames. I should have had them do that, but this worked out fine just the same.
I love the picture, perfect art to compliment the family room and the breakfast area.
I can’t thank Canvas on the Cheap enough, this is a wonderful addition to my home.
