You know how it is, sometimes you just can’t help but to go for it. When I did the refresh to the master bathroom I fell in love with those really cute polka dot towels. So on another trip to Home Goods, I saw them again and just had to get some more. The bath towels, wash clothes and more hand towels just called my name.
Our Master Bathroom is one of the compromises we made with this house. It is by no means big and roomy. It is a narrow galley type bathroom with the tub and vanity in one section then the toilet and shower in another section. The shower is roomy since it spans the full 5 1/2 feet, but that means the whole bathroom is slim. Getting a good picture is really a challenge.
To give you perspective as to the placement of the bathoom, here it is viewed from the bed.
As you can see, not very wide, definitely a galley.
Swapping out accessories and changing the towels to these cute polka dot ones started the whole refresh. You can see the original post here if you missed it. In that post I share where this bathroom started and then the free granite and flooring leftover from other remodels to help give this area a facelift. (As I mentioned in a previous post, I still have to paint the vanity. I know way over due, I really need to do this.)
Now that brings us up to date, so after I found more towels, of course I had to play all over again.
I turned them around to the gray side for the hand towels on the counter and the bath towels in the shower area.
A couple were added to the tub also.
Isn’t that fun. I think they add just the right amount of fun to the bathroom. Nothing serious, just fun.
Like I said before. I am easy, just a few towels get me all inspired. How about you, do the simple things get you going down a decor rat hole too?
