Happy Birthday to me. Ok, I am 39 again and looking better each time I turn 39. haha I had a fabulous birthday. We actually celebrated it last Sunday since my son (Kent) has a birthday on August 3rd, so we always do our party together with the family. All the family came over for snacks, a swim and then dinner. We had a ton of fun.
As you can see my newest grandson loves the water. He loves to splash and kick. He’s not the least bit afraid of getting his face wet and thinks the pool is the best thing ever. This is Keith, Stephanie and Ryan – better known as “little bit”.
Hubby and I stayed out and so did my daughter Kelly and grandson Dylan. He starts junior high this year, how in the world did he grow so fast.
Kent & Patty were enjoying the pool too. Of course we all love playing with “Little Bit”.
Everyone had a great time and the pool was put to good use.
We had such a fun day and a fabulous dinner.
We snacked on Braut Sausage
Cheese sticks
Deviled Eggs
Dips and Chips
Good Wine-Lemonade and Sodas of all kinds
Dinner was fabulous too
BBQ Shredded Chicken on Brioch buns
Macaroni Salad
Cantelope
Tossed Salad
Jello Salad
and a fabulous Chocolate BD cake that Stephanie made. (I know I am so bad about taking pictures. I am always having way too much fun.)
Ok, this birthday is in the books and now to finish my physical therapy and get this body back to normal. I have 5 more weeks to go and then I should be able to do most things. Still takes a year for the fusion to totally grow together, so I still have to make sure I don’t mess up those rods and screws that are holding my back together. However, I am doing great and feel wonderful, so that is the Blessing of all this.
Now to get ready for another milestone Birthday next year. I may have to stop being 39 – or not.
