Finding New Accessories For The Mini Living Room Makeover

As you all know I have been in the process of doing a “Mini Living Room Makeover”. I think I have a couple of big items figured out – 1 The new Mirror and 2. The coffee Table. Now I want to fill in with some new up to date accessories to pull the room together.

A friend and I were out to lunch the other day and we ran into World Market. I almost always find the most interesting things there. I especially love their pillows. You can’t beat their selection of Velvet pillows starting at $9.99. Their dinnerware is amazing also, however today I was looking for decor items for the living room makeover.

1.The large gray planter with brass stand would be perfect to add some greenery in the corner by the front window. At only $44.99 I think it is a steal .

2. The large glass pillar candle holder is stunning with the gold trim. It is huge too at 7.5″ wide and 9.5″ tall. Perfect to make a statement on the coffee table or an end table.

3. This metal Gold Lotus Flower Tealight Holder is also an impressive size at 7″ in diam. and 5.5″ high. This has enough size and character it will show up on an end table and not get lost. I prefer to use fewer items with some size instead of a bunch of little things.

4. Gold Apple is such an iconic piece. It could go anywhere and this one is a great size at over 4″.

5. I love the yellow color of this pretty velvet lumbar pillow. It is available in lots of colors too.
