Area rugs are a great way to not only add comfort, but some style and pattern to any room in the house. I have been trying to find a couple of area rugs that I really like for a while, and at a price that made sense to me.
I love having a soft rug underfoot in my kitchen. It seems we spend a ton of time working in front of the sink and any spot where we do a ton of cutting or chopping. Having a runner that was big enough to cover this area in my kitchen has been on my radar for a while. I wanted something that was pretty and practical. It also had to be at a reasonable price. I didn’t want something that I would be totally upset if something really bad spilled on it and stained it so bad I couldn’t clean it.
January sales were happening at almost every rug outlet and store. Finding something I like and the size I was hunting for was another issue. I finally found a couple that I think will be perfect from eSale Rugs. (This is not a sponsored post, I was not given product or compensated in any way.) With my white cabinets and granite counters and marble backsplash, I think gray is a great accent for that area, so I was looking for some in a gray and white or cream pattern.
When I saw this one, I thought it was just unusual enough that it could be fun. Plus it was at a giveaway price. $39 and free shipping. How could that be any better. I love the kind of contemporary vibe the rug has too.
I also spotted this one for the hall bathroom upstairs. Hubby likes to have his own bathroom which is great by me and since our hall bathroom is right next to the door to the master bedroom it is really convenient too. I needed a new rug for his bathroom. Something soft and warm underfoot and something fun with a pattern. When I saw this Greek Key pattern in a soft beige and gray pattern, I thought it would be perfect. This was a giveaway price too for only $29.
Now I can’t wait to get them and see how they look. Time to freshen up a couple of areas for the new year.
