As you probably know if you have followed me for a while. I love to move furniture around and change accessories. It can dramatically give a room a totally different purpose or look. Sometime it is really minor or casual, but a change just the same.
I love our patio, but I am switching things around, so I need to move some of the furniture around too. This seating arrangement is great, but I have another piece that needs to get moved out of the garage and onto the patio, so something has to go. The pretty wicker chair is moving back inside.
It’s going into the Family Room again. I’ve had this chair in here before. It was one of my favorites for quite a while and was in the family room when we first moved in. (This is when we first moved in.)
Then it went to the loft for a while, then the patio, but now it is back in the family room.
This is what the family room has looked like for quite a while. I had the gray chair and the brown one on each side of the TV. Then I moved the gray one, so I had to figure out a new seating arrangement.
So now we have some of the furniture back where we started. Still getting use to it here. (I am debating whether to stain the wicker chair darker or leave it.)
I was concerned that it would look too large in this space, but I think it is fine. Here is a view across from the kitchen.
The gray chair was moved to the entrance a few weeks ago and I love it there. Totally changes the feel of the entrance wall.
I really do like how this composition came together.
This fits well with my china cabinet that is on the same wall. (This is the wall that is opposite the living and dining area.)
If you don’t like what you have going on or just want a change, maybe just a few chair changes is all that is needed to give you and your room a boost.
