Budget Spooky Fall Porch

Our porch is not really a porch, it is more of a stoop, but I still want it to be fun and interesting, plus inviting.  For this Fall season, I thought I would mix a little bit of Fall and Halloween. I kept the topiaries, greenery, rug and mat that I normally use, I just added a few things to bring in the spirit of Halloween.   Enjoy my Budget Spooky Fall Porch.

I don’t go all out, but I do like to add a few seasonal items.  I shopped the house and then picked up a few things from the Dollar Tree and our porch is ready for the season.  A tarantula, skull, spider and crow skeleton are the only new items.  My Happy Jack-o-lantern has been a favorite for years.  I love his toothy grin.  The bottle crate is one I’ve had for years too.

This little skeleton crow is nestled in the topiary.   A really subtle addition that you don’t quite notice at first.

A spider and his web are clinging to the side of the wall.

Black cats are suppossed to be bad luck, this one is trying to get in the house.  I need to keep that door closed. haha  I am enjoying the basket on the door instead of a wreath.  Something different that makes a great statement.

A fun simple, Budget Spooky Fall Porch

You can check out how we redid the front of the house last year with a mini makeover.

It helped to add a ton of curb appeal and got rid of some overgrown bushes that blocked the windows.

Most of my decor came from the Dollar Tree, if you don’t have one near you, check out a few things I found online.

I added a few pumpkins to the yard. so, now I will check out our dollar store and add a few more things. We moved to a retirement village and I thought the neighbors would be all about making things nice, so far I am leading the charge in some seasonal fun. Thank you.

Your spooky p0rch is very cute – and I like that little skeleton hiding in the topiary! You can borrow our black cat if you think a real one would fit in better !!

Too cute Marty! Every year I think about doing Halloween instead of just plain fall.
