Today I am thrilled to be joining a wonderful group of ladies as We Gather Together for a Thanksgiving Blog Hop. Thanks so much to Amber @ Follow The Yellow Brick Home for hosting this fun tour. If you’ve come over from Amber’s home I am sure you loved her beautiful Thanksgiving Table as much as I did.
As you know, we love to entertain, so creating a table for friends is always a fun chore. I wanted to create a table that was a little elegant and a little casual all at the same time. Something that seemed a bit “special” for my guests but nothing over the top. To achieve that I reused my favorite fall floral arrangement and simple place settings, but I added my best crystal. I like the way the table turned out.
When I create a table for 4 on our round table, I always try to make sure everyone can see each other. My trick for that when using my favorite tall candlesticks is to place them off-center. That way they don’t block the view of anyone on either side of you or across the table.
White and gold is always a pretty table and allows the floral centerpiece to shine.
I’ve used this Fall Floral Arrangement before. It is a simple one put together with an assortment of faux’s from the Dollar Tree. I like to mix all kinds of flowers together for added interest.
My favorite gold trimmed stems add that touch of elegance that I wanted.
We Gather Together Thanksgiving. A pretty table to enjoy good food, good wine, and very special friends.
Now be sure to hop on over to see Debra @ Common Ground. Her Thanksgiving Table will definitely inspire you. Then check out all the others by clicking the links below.
This is such a pretty Thanksgiving tablescape Marty! I never thought about placing the candlesticks off centered so the centerpiece can shine. I’ll definitely give that trick a try. Thanks for the tip and hope you have the best Thanksgiving! Hugs, CoCo
Your table looks beautiful, Marty! Thanks for the tip to use tall candlesticks off center. I am going to try that the next time I set a table for four.
Such a cozy table setting Miss Marty! I adore those wooden candlesticks. The centerpiece is wonderful!
Beautiful table setting, Marty! I would love to have a round table but it would never work with our crowd! I love your pretty centerpiece and your touches of gold. Happy almost-Thanksgiving!
Cheers!

Gold is the perfect metal to incorporate at this time of year and you have used it so nicely on your lovely table. You look ready to host for this wonderful holiday!
Marty, what a lovely, elegant table! I especially like your centerpiece, and thought it was real, fresh flowers — fooled me! Can’t believe it’s made up of DT faux stems. Maybe you were a florist in a previous life LOL! Happy Thanksgiving!
I’ve never thought to off-center the taller items on a table. That’s fantastic Marty! Will be doing this today and forever! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Pretty, elegant Thanksgiving table, Marty! Have a blessed celebration!
You always know it out of the park my friend. It looks so lovely and inviting. I love using gold and silver. Pinned and wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving. Hugs!

The gold is lovely. I like that trick too. I don’t mind hand washing the crystal but I don’t like washing the plates.
I may have said this before but I love your new chandelier.
Your golden tablescape looks just perfect for Thanksgiving guests… and ties in so well with all things fall. And, just a couple changes will make it work for Christmas, too! Love that table runner, Marty! Pinned, and love hopping with you!
Your Thanksgiving table looks beautiful!! I love the gold chargers with the beautiful stemware you have!

Marty, I love your big floral centerpiece. The natural wood candlesticks contrast beautifully with the gold tones. Great idea to offset the candlesticks. Hope that you have a lovely Thanksgiving.
I love the simple elegance of the gold-trimmed stems, Marty. Isn’t it amazing what you can find at Dollar Tree nowadays, too?! I’ve started making a regular rotation there to see what seasonal goodies I can find. The centerpiece looks great! Happy Thanksgiving!
Marty,
I always love seeing your home dressed for the holidays with your classical style. Best wishes for you and your family as you celebrate Thanksgiving this year.

Love your elegant crystal and cutlery Marty. Your classic style never disappoints! Great suggestion too on table placement of the tall candlesticks. Cheers to good food and good friends to share it with!
Marty, your table is beautiful! It has a touch of elegance, but still looks very inviting. We will not be eating at our home this year. We are going our oldest daughters. This is her first time hosting. Happy Thanksgiving!!
