Hot Chocolate Bar

I haven’t had a Hot Chocolate Bar for years, so this was a fun one for me.  I just recently set up a Dessert Coffee Bar.  Since we are a coffee-drinking family, adding some flavored syrups to our favorite coffee – hot or cold – is something we enjoy.

I thought I would just expand a little on what I have going on and add my Hot Chocolate Mixes to the same tray.  I don’t have a ton of counter space, so keeping it all together in one spot worked great for me.  If you’ve been following me you have seen my kitchen many times.  I love it – small but very functional.  (The saving grace for my kitchen is the really large walk-in pantry and large dish-room that I have. Spoiled I know.)

I use this section of my kitchen for our coffee.  All the necessary cups, sugar and creamer are in the cabinet above.  Perfect spot to add the Dessert and Hot Chocolate Bar.

This small marble tray holds my Flavored Syrups, so I added some really cute Dollar Tree jars to hold the Hot Chocolate Mix and Mini Marshmallows.  A glass is perfect for the peppermint canes that act as a stir stick and add flavor all at the same time.

Hubby had a holiday label, so he printed one out for the Hot Chocolate Jar.

Of course, I had to treat myself to a nice hot mug topped with some whipped cream and a few mini chocolate chips.

Now I think I am all set for anyone that would like either a flavored coffee or a nice hot chocolate.  If you have a small space you can create your own coffee bar with just a couple of jars from the Dollar Tree.  It doesn’t have to be big and lavish to still be fun.

Adorable Msrty and never puts chips on the whipped cream. Got me thinking of different chips I can try.

    Happy Thanksgiving

I’m craving some syrups to try in coffee or hot chocolate after seeing yours. The dollar store jars that you found look great and will be useful for storing all sorts of things later on.

Instead of dollar store jars, I make sure to clean out all my candle jars (bake at low temp in oven to melt all wax) and use those for so many things in kitchen and baths!

    Hi Marty,
How fun to know Barbara. I love her glasses how fun are those. I have a small hot cocoa and coffee bar and love it. I am just getting ready to do a repeat post of a coffee bar I did a few years ago that I just loved. Hope it will inspire.
Happy rest of the week and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Marty, I love your hot cocoa station with your cute gingerbread sign and gingerbread girl standing by! My tree looks very similar, and I never thought to add little peppermints, but I just might now that I’ve seen yours. Isn’t it amazing what Dollar Tree has to offer with glass jars? I used several for my cocoa bar too! I’d love to have a mug of hot cocoa with you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Marty! How fun for your friend Barbara to have her book made into a Hallmark movie!! I definitely will look for it on the Hallmark channel. <3 I love how you've created your hot cocoa bar. It fits perfectly in its spot there in your kitchen, which is beautiful, btw. <3 Off to read your pantry post next… I am lucky that in this new home of ours we have a large square kitchen with tons of cupboard space! 😉 Yeah, the plates and goodies…

    Happy Thanksgiving to you,
    Hugs,
    Barb 🙂
